iLEAD’s Collaboration with FLOWTECH

The collaboration between FLOWTECH Educational Technologies and iLEAD Schools in the Antelope Valley is a promising development in the field of social and emotional education. iLEAD Schools is a charter school network that serves students in California, providing students with a personalized learning experience that emphasizes project-based learning and social-emotional development.

FLOWTECH Navigators

The collaboration also includes the training of FLOWTECH Navigators, who are responsible for implementing and maintaining the focus room. These navigators are trained in the use of FLOWTECH’s technologies and are equipped with the skills and knowledge they need to support students in their social and emotional development.

Flowtech Navigators are an integral part of the collaboration between FLOWTECH Educational Technologies and iLEAD Schools in the Antelope Valley. These trained professionals are responsible for implementing and maintaining the focus room, which provides students with a safe and supportive environment to practice social and emotional skills using FLOWTECH’s innovative technologies.


Skills for The 21st Century

In addition to their technical skills, FLOWTECH navigators are also expected to possess strong communication and interpersonal skills. To support this aspect of their work, FLOWTECH navigators are trained in Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) and other communication modalities.

Our use of persuasive technologies, such as personalized feedback and progress tracking, encourages students to stay engaged and motivated to learn. In addition, our gamified approach to learning provides a fun and rewarding experience that keeps students coming back for more.

Giving Educators Better Tools To Connect with Students

The inclusion of training in Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) and other communication modalities for FLOWTECH Navigators is a revolutionary step in teacher training. This is because, in addition to technical skills, strong communication and interpersonal skills are equally important for educators to effectively engage and connect with their students.

NLP is a powerful communication and personal development technique that explores the connection between the mind, language, and behavior. By understanding how students think and communicate, FLOWTECH Navigators can develop strategies to better connect with them and create a safe and supportive learning environment.

Other communication modalities that FLOWTECH Navigators are trained in, such as nonviolent communication (NVC) and motivational interviewing (MI), are also critical in helping students overcome social and emotional challenges. NVC focuses on compassionate communication, while MI is a counseling technique that helps students overcome ambivalence and make positive changes in their behavior.
